The Senior Experience
What an exciting time this is in your life! Your Senior year is filled with so many "lasts". and the start to so many "firsts". The year that sums up your entire childhood school years. It is a special time to reflect and also a time to dream about your future. Because you are so unique and special in your own way, your photos will not look like every one else's. I want to capture YOU in your own unique way. Bring fun props with you, a fancy hat, cool jacket, or if you play sports then bring some gear. We're going to have so much fun! I'll have you laughing and feeling like a celebrity...like your own personal paparazzi! We will tailor the photoshoot for your needs and wants.

Let's start with a conversation about your session and what you envision for it. Fill out my contact form and I'll get back to you very shortly. The more information you provide on the form the more I am able to help you.
1. Say Hello
Let's make it official! Once we have a date that works for both of us I'll send over a contract and invoice for your retainer fee. Just return your signed contract and submit payment for the retainer fee. This is how your date and time are secured on my calendar.
2. Schedule it
Now that your date is secured, let's start planning your session. We will have a phone conversation and discuss every detail of your session. From location, hair and makeup, to what you and everyone included in the session will wear. I will provide any and all support needed, including style guides and color schemes if needed.
3. Planning it
Time for your session! All you need to do now is show up. I will guide you from here with playful prompts and poses to get the best expressions, giggles, and laughs. Most importantly we are going to have a lot of fun, and your going to take home some good memories!
4. Your Session
About 7-10 days after your session I will send you a gallery link for you to view your photos. From there you will select your favorite images for downloading. The amount of downloads you get depends on which collection you chose at booking. Don't worry, you can always upgrade to the next collection if you need or want more images. You can also choose any products or wall art at this time as well. Your final images and products will be delivered 3 weeks after you've made your selections.

Senior Sessions begin at $250
All sessions will take place at a beautiful, mutually agreed upon location by both client and photographer during the golden hour (about an hour and a half before sunset). I will style your family from head to toe if you'd like, assist you with shopping links, accessories, color schemes, and anything else you might need if desired. Upon booking you will receive a questionnaire. This is to help me get to know you and your family more. It also helps me to understand your needs and wants for location, style, and any special things you might want me to know. Once I receive the questionnaire the session planning begins. Investment begins at $250, please inquire for more detailed pricing information.

It was a very warm September day for Senior pictures. Never would have dreamt of Suson Park as the perfect location but it sure was. Angie had some great suggestions for wardrobe changes outdoors- it worked! Angie was patient with the heat and always takes so many poses and photos it is nearly impossible to choose. Since it was so hot there needed to be lots of "touching up" of the photos to get that "shine" from Chloe's face - the pictures were flawless!

Collin-My boy who doesn't like pictures. It is easier for a boy to change outdoors and Angie was so patient with him. He wanted the bare minimum but Angie got him to cooperate more than his mother could. Angie suggested the streets of downtown Kirkwood- literally a gangway between buildings ended up being our favorite spot. Angie also traveled with us to the high school to capture our stunning gymnasium at Lutheran South. One more Akerson senior pic session- coming soon Fall 2023.
