A: I can remember getting my very first camera when I was about 10 years old. It was an old 110mm camera and had actual bulb flashes that you had to replace every time you used the flash! Seems like ages ago! I got serious about photography in High School and continued with a college degree in Fine Arts majoring in Photography. It's been 28 years since I first started my photography career. Ok, now I feel old Haha!

A: This varies depending on the collection you choose. Generally speaking I will take about 100+ photographs at your session.  I offer 5 different collections that include a set amount of hand edited images along with an album if desired. So it's really up to you, you can have exactly what you want.

A: For most sessions it will only take around 30-45 minutes. Extended family sessions, newborns, and seniors can take 1-2 hours.

A: Once your session is booked with me I will send you a brief questionnaire that helps me get to know you, gives me some direction for the vision of your session, and helps me narrow down some ideas. From there I will be in contact with you via text, email, or phone call and we will discuss and decide together which location best suits your needs.

A: This might start getting a bit technical, but I personally use a Canon 6D with prime lenses. I have a small suitcase of extra lenses, camera body, and lots of extra SD cards that I bring to every shoot. You never have to worry if my equipment will fail because I'm always prepared with way more than I need. This is where my 25 years of experience kicks in!

A: Totally! But I want you feeling 1,000% comfortable and excited about the quality of your photographs before placing orders on those. That way, you only order exactly what you want, when you want, and when you know with confidence that they are going to look amazing on your walls. And all of this is done & ordered right through your online gallery! 

A: Yes, I do! Traditional session retainer fees are due at the time of booking (within a week) and the final Payment ( for your chosen collection) is due 7 days prior to your session day. But, if you wanted to do the payment plan, I can stretch it into equal 1/3's or 1/4's if that works best for you. Just let me know what you prefer, and I will make it happen. It's that easy.

In the super unlikely event that I am too ill, injured, or there's some other emergency, I will make my best effort to reschedule for a date that works for both of us in the most timely manner I can. If that is not an option for you I do have colleagues who photograph and edit in my style that I can call on.  That said, in the 25+ years I've been doing this, I have never even been 60 seconds late. You're in good hands. I promise.

A: Love that question the most! To book me as your photographer, simply let me know 1) What collection you want, 2) Pay a retainer fee to reserve your date on my calendar, that's it!
